Hi, I am Phillip Antrobus, a professional wedding photographer based in the North West of England, and I’ve been photographing weddings for over 12 years. During that time, I’ve been lucky enough to capture hundreds of amazing wedding days across Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales, Lancashire and beyond. I am an approved supplier in several of the top wedding venues in the area.
Most of my couples want someone who feels part of the day. They enjoy a chat, trust my experience and appreciate clear communication. In short, the couples I work with want to feel relaxed on their day and to have beautiful photos that are true to their story.
Every wedding includes two photographers as standard. That means both sides of the morning prep are covered, more natural moments are captured throughout the day, and nothing important is missed. It also means better storytelling, different angles, reactions, and moments you didn’t even realise were happening. I only ever use the same two second photographers who I have worked with since I started my business, so they know exactly how I work and the pictures I require from them. I edit all my couples’ photos within three weeks of their wedding.
I started just doing weddings for family and friends, and then more and more people started asking me to photograph their weddings. I then enrolled in photography courses and second-shoot weddings for other photographers to gain more knowledge and experience. I just loved learning and developing my own style of wedding photography.
Weddings are full of laughter, emotions and people having once-in-a-lifetime moments. I love being part of someone’s special day and capturing it. No two weddings are ever the same; you are meeting different people all the time who are just there to enjoy the day. You are also getting to photograph at some amazing wedding venues.
At the Wedding Night Market I will be meeting all the couples and chatting about their wedding day, listening to their ideas for their wedding day, what type of wedding they are planning, have they picked their venue yet?
I love Liverpool wedding venues, it’s hard to say which venue in particular, as each offers something different. I do love Liverpool city centre venues close to the waterfront, as they can offer spectacular sunset images, weather permitting.
